Clear lenses on rear

Post by Zakbelle » Mon Jun 09, 2014 7:53 am

Hi has anyone bought and fit a set of clear lenses for their e53? My tailgate lenses are cloudy but rather than refurb or replace with like for like I kinda like the clear lenses that are fitted to the front.

Has anyone fit this type and if so was it easy? Any canbus issues? Where did you buy them from

Cheers

Craig

Craig,

you can get the clear lenses from eBay but personally I think it won't work well for the look.

Your call but I went with the Phillips Lumiled led rears from across the pond. Work well and update the rear nicely while still looking OEM ish.

Personally I like these :

Like shadrack said - I like an updated look but retaining an oem look.
