TV LCD colour

Post by nabeelchohan » Fri Feb 21, 2014 10:38 am

Hi guys.

I have noticed a change of colour on the TV LCD screen. It has turned to a bit greenish. But the functions are working absolutely fine.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, what would be repair cost roughly?

Cheers

Chances are it's the ribbon cable in the display unit needs very carefully removing, cleaning and re-seating.  Others have had the same problem and it was the ribbon cable causing the issue.

I had this issue. I followed the guide below which resolved it 100% (make sure you check out reply #8 in the thread as it shows the ribbon cables in detail).

I posted later DIY fix on that link - a helper with small hands can be useful to do this.
