Re: Help me decide which X5
It works out about £2800 cheaper. We plan on keeping it for 5yrs covering around 18k per year. Its not just the fuel cost, its the ability of diesels engines to go on for many miles that appeals too

3 litre diesel Vs V8 on LPG - discuss
I've been just looking at 3.0d for the fuel economy, but someone has just reminded me about LPG.
So based on the facelift models can people give me their opinion on what they believe would be the better option and why? My budget will be upto £12k, although really it should be around £11k. So for ...

Re: Help me decide which X5
I tried haggling with both and both just about knocked me back. The first one agreed to knock £200 and the second about £400 (and that was after initially walking away and calling back today) The second one is very high spec, has quite a few expensive options. The first one is about average on the ...

Help me decide which X5
Ok we've narrowed our search down to 2 cars. And cannot decide which one to go for:
3.0d 04 Plate in Black, cream leather
72k miles
6months tax
FSH, BMW except last two
3 owners
Sat Nav
Sunroof
Get a really good feeling about the seller of this, although a car dealership its his car (for 2yrs)

Re: Panoramic Sunroofs - are they problematic?
Thanks for the info guys. Based on this I think we'll move the sunroof to the "Nice to have" list. And if we do find one with it I'm going to sit there for 20minutes opening and shutting it

Panoramic Sunroofs - are they problematic?
Hey Guys
You may have seen my wanted ad for an X5? Anyway one of my girlfriends 'must haves' is a panoramic sunroof. I've been ringing around places today and one guy informed me that I should reconsider one of those as the plastic clips go, the whole 'cartridge' needs replacing costing £3200. He ...
