Hi Glenn822... Nothing was altered and the reception issue seemed to disappear. all is good again now... Very perculiar although a nice "cheap" fix.

I had a very similar problem with my sat nav screen and the blue text issues last year and a new battery once again sorted the problem..... It seems that the battery solves lots of gremlins and with the cold being issues for you both, it might possibly point to a weak battery.... Good luck getting ...
