I have a 2002 4.4 E53 and was wondering if any one has any idea about replacing the driver rh seat squab (comfort seat)? I am not afraid of dismantling seat and disarming the airbags' have the workshop manual. I suppose one way is to obtain a used seat and use it as a spare, or buy a new replacement ...

Also neglected to say have had an gearbox service and oil change done within last 1000 miles.( Fault was their prior to the service)

I have a problem also with the trans failure warning.
It will always throw tfs fault if I try and start the car in the normal way : in Park, switch on and start car ,throws trans fault warning.
So the way I start is put in neutral and then start, always works with NO trans failure fault

I also put 34psi all round. Have had my 4.4 E53 since 2006 .

Same here , wanted some decorating done , would normally have done job myself, but wife said 'no way at you age'. (now 81 ) Had 3 appointments with different decorators to view and quote the job , no turn up, eventually got one to do it ,on recommendation, a bloody disaster, wife really upset £500 ...
