Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

OK, so these are the speed and RPM numbers I see in that log, do they look about right?

Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

No, the iBus message for speed is sent a regular intervals from the cluster, so long as you are logging the iBus messages that's all that matters. It will reduce the size of the log if you are not actually using the Intravee source at all.

Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

I'm happy to have a quick look, but no guarantees!

To take an iBus log you need to connect up to a PC as you did when updating the firmware.

Select the logging option from the menu, then type the command "ibusd on" (no quotes, followed by return). You should see iBus messages start to be displayed ...

Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

I want to report an issue with the actual speed (which is also saved in the "latest trips log").
It is way to high (like ~200km/h when the real speed is like 50km/h)

My car is a 2005 E46 M3 (car type setting shall be correct) - may it be, the "Ms" are handling the actual speed differently to the ...

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

I've set up a DropBox folder into which I'll put Intravee firmware which you can access without joining BMW5.

The link is here .

I'll create a new sub-folder for each release which will contain the firmware and various documentation.

Newest version is 6.02-7045.

Let me know if you have any ...

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

To be quite honest, I don't know exactly what the spec of the second cable needs to be, I've used BMW specific cables but the VAG one may be good enough for the 2nd cable.

I believe it is quite easy to modify the VAG cable to a BMW version.

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035
Richard, any chance of getting the Auto Close to work on the facelift?

It still doesn't work..
As it's not been tried it is disabled for the X5.

You could try setting the car type to E38/E39 and see if it works. It is quite 'fussy', so you would need to make sure the ...

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035
One (possibly silly question) - Is it possible to only have these lights come on if its dark? I'm sure the intravee shows the status of the light sensor somewhere. No big deal but for me would be the finishing touch.

It is possible, but there is a big problem.

The ...

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

Not sure why it's not illuminating both top and bottom lights. It might be possible to send some iBus query commands to the LCM with the side lights on and off to see which I/O bits are sent. It's probably not too important, just one of those "I wonder why that does not work" little problems.

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

Try this firmware (hope the link works).

Should enable the lights on pre facelift X5's and at least the top tail lights on post facelifts.

Re: Intravee Latest Firmware 6.02-7035

In 6.02-7041 light control is not enabled for the Pre Facelift X5. If anyone has a Pre-Facelift X5 could they TEMPORARILY switch the vehicle type to Facelift X5 and check the lights, ideally each light individually on either Entry or Exit. When done make sure you set the vehicle type back. Let me ...
