I think using the current exchange rate distorts the calculation - the A$ is currently very strong against the GBP. OK so I've established that I don't have the wiring in place and I'm resigned to getting a TomTom or similar. Anyone have any recommendations for a unit that integrates nicely with the X5 interior. Pictures would be great.

Thanks for the replies. Definitely no DVD and I don't remember seeing any loose cables but I'll have another look when it's light. I don't know if it makes any difference but this is an overseas model - I'm in Brisbane. Presumably if I have cables it's just a case of acquiring the DVD module ?
