Re: Intravee 'extras'
just a quick one the info that the intravee is not off my car, as I checked mine and is said the last service was sometime in 2009 (that wasn't it's last service), which is different than what you have stated. I know that this does not solve the issue, just letting you know that it is reading the ...

Re: Adjusting rear hatch
you need to adjust the bump stops so that when you shut the boot lid it will just grip a piece of paper, once this is correct open the boot and wrap some electrical tape around the lock catch in the bottom tailgate latch, you only need to go around this 2 to 3 times, and all will be silent.

For sale - BERU coil pack
This was bought for a fault on my X5 4.6is so the coil pack is as new only on the car for a day, most of that spent on a low loader, so is as new and will supply RAC receipt to give 12 months warranty from the 05/09/12

For Sale BMW X5 bentley Manual - SOLD -
Hardback version of the X5 workshop manual for the E53 only, and I should also point out that it does not cover the diesel engine, but does cover all suspension, electrics, etc.
This is in as new condition as I photocopied the bits I needed and used them whilst doing work on the car.
£45 plus p + p

Re: Strange SINGLE Crack Noise when on significant lock on slope???
to be honest I thought mine where tight, but with an extra couple of foot bar got another half a turn and that solved it, just remember to tighten when you have jacked the wheel hub to the height measured when the wheel are on the ground.

Strange SINGLE Crack Noise when on significant lock on slope???
I had part 10 replaced, but had no problems with them for about 6-8 months then started getting a sharp cracking noise when going round corners, no problem on straight parts. I changed the drop links first and no change. I even tried wobbling part 10 And they were rock solid. In the end I thought ...

Re: Strange SINGLE Crack Noise when on significant lock on slope???
my guess part number 10 where it bolts to the subframe, may get away with tightening it up, it has to be dam tight. To do it with the wheel off. 1) before jacking the car up measure from the bottom of wheel arch vertically down to the center of the wheel. 2) jack car up and remove wheel as normal 3 ...

looking at a Saab turbo convertible, missus has always liked them and not to expensive, and being basically a vauxhall should not be to bad on parts

Re: 4.6is low compression cylinder 2
Staying away from X5's, don't really need anything that big any more. Took the intravee out before I sold it so will sell that shortly with all the leads and KCA, as I am not going down the BMW route.
