Think I'm going to have to swap out one frame for another from the boneyard

Yesterday I removed the air intake...I saw nothing ripped,tore or out of the ordinary.
Think I'll replace cold crank cyclone valve ..I don't know!

Had a little time to run a Foxwell scan.
I can get the car started soundly. But the idel is horrible! Engine
keeps trying at constantly attempting to get the right idel...up and down, up and down. Still uncontrollable.

Yeah, I went over my work almost at the point of removing the air intake.
Then I discovered that throttle and pedal can be misaligned which can call for a recalibration/adaptation.

2786 throttle-valve potentiometer 1 and 2

Changed out ccv, reinstalled the air intake and now I have engine surge and dead acceleration. Replaced...gas pedal and the throttle m54b30 high mileage X3. 06. But a TANK when on the roadway!
Any help needed.

Thanks for your help...I did remove the air intake to replace the starter...all went back easily.
Did you view the pic of the boot and the burn spot at the throttle body connection?
Any idea of what that's all about. I never smelled anything burning.

I think N52 engine

I found an X3 I'm considering...high miles as con be expected...the family has to move the country so will let it go for 1500. Is the M54 engine in this car?
She says it doesn't start and was told I needs an alternator.
Any guidance given here to make the purchase?

Not happy with my progress or results . Kicking myself! Think I'm going to have to go back to square 1 again...my original frame but use the donor motor. Bulb was blown on the overhead light bracket.... Now there is leakage from the rear drain lines....never had leakages with the original frame ...

I'm in the 1st stages of replacement. Haven't sorted it all out yet. I've got to take a look a Newtis yet too. Thanks for your reply insight.

*Roof cluster lights don't come on
*06 Driver master window switch doesn't work with the 08 door panels
*06 glass doesn't seem to fit 08 frame
*Need to clean tracks with what

Not right hand drive or an 07 but 06.
