Remote Central Locking Unresponsive

Afternoon all, I did a bit of a boo boo a few weekends ago and I left my comfort access key in my mountain bike riding trousers as it went into a quick rinse and spin cycle. It didn't occur to me to remove the battery ASAP, instead I checked the function of the remote to see if it was working (it ...

LCI Headlight Washer Jet Troubleshooting

Brill... I did query this with a few guys on socials with E70s and other BMW's and that's what they confirmed. I didn't want to unnecessarily tear down the arch liners to confirm something that didn't need doing. Cheers

LCI Headlight Washer Jet Troubleshooting

So my LCI came factory fitted with Xenons, so I fully expected my headlight washer to be fully functional. I assume they're factory fit since I'm getting a nice 5000K colour and only the outermost projector lights are illuminated, flicking between low to high beam. Nothing was flagged up during its ...

Style 214 - Square Setup Query

I've seen individual 214 10" on ebay that looks in reasonable condition, i.e. not buckled or damaged. Curbing doesn't bother me since I've got some Silbergrau spraypaint left over from when I did a touch up. I've never been a fan of staggered setups in the first instance. When I was younger, I might ...

Carrying bikes in the boot/trunk

I measured up my Trek Rail 5 and Nukeproof mega when it came to looking at cars and when compared to my S204 Merc C220 Estate, the G01 came up larger, which was assuring. You'll probably lose some width on the G01 compared to the G05 as well as length. I'm presuming the X3M doesn't have the option ...

E70 Newbie - The modding has started

Good afternoon all, I thought I'd introduce myself on here first. After months and months of deliberation and due to a new arrival in the family, I took it upon myself to get rid of my Mercedes C220 Estate after 6 years of service and plump for a family wagon. The missus' countryman has all the day ...

Style 214 - Square Setup Query

Good afternoon all, New member here and I've got to say that these forums have proven very useful in informing me on my recent acquisition; 2011 LCI 40d http://scontent.fbrs4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/285877797_1113370059524024_8402300184903265433_n.jpg?_nc_cat=107&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc ...
