BMW X1: Parking Distance not working
You may be able to get to the sensors at the front via the wheel arch (remove the trims) and the removable trim panels below the centre ones? Not sure about the rear though. So finally got round to Testing out the sensors and my issue seems to be the front right if in the car or front left if ...

Alternator replacement - Write up / you info
What makes you think it's the alternator? Faults with those is pretty rare in modern BMWs, it's usually a dying battery, or the battery has been changed without the systems being taught there's a new battery on the car. If you're seeing a steady 13.8 to 14.4V DC at the jump start point with the ...

Front & Rear Bumper removal: How to ?
The front sensors don’t need the bumper off apart from left centre. Screws at top (4) and bottom (9) all need to come off Sides are got to via the wheel arches and front right via the trim panels below the fog lights. Front & Rear Bumper removal: How to ?
Hey guys, I have a 2015 X1 with a PDC fault, where all sensors seem to be out of commission.
Before tackling jobs like removing panels as it have broken plastics written all over it. Are there any good write-ups / videos on the forum for how to remove the bumpers?
Thanks in advance.

No pictures? You need to use the ‘Add Files’ button just above the ‘Post Reply’ button (at the bottom of the reply text box) or they don’t upload. You can’t insert them into a post any other way. One sensor can cause an issue but not normally at both ends. Put your ear to each in turn and you should ...
