I think you’re right. All-season tyres are fine in the UK as our average temperatures rarely get into the range that either ‘performance’ or ‘winter’ tyres need unless you’re living on higher or more exposed ground. Winter tyres are horrible ! Noisy to drive on expensive and short lifespan. Here on the edge of Exemoor people are paranoid (for no good reason) about the weather, and I hear lots of vehicles go past with audibly clear winter tyres but weather in the last few years has in no way warranted them ...

Thats truly lovely 👍 Sadly my low down two seater days are over. If i was mobile enough i'd have one of these. Put a deposit on a modified one years ago then discovered original is best, it usually is i suppose. Never found another at anything like sensible money. Now with the passage of time... ...

It’s just to trigger happy at the rear when that straight 6 kicks in, in short it’s a bit of a handful when it’s wet

RWD BMW and snow are a phrase to be avoided by the faint of heart!! We're under a snow warning this weekend and I suspect the E46 will be grounded for bad behaviour :P I had winters on my old 330d and it made the car very capable indeed , what I found though is with 2wd a hill start is usually ...

We are in sunny southern Spain till next week so hopefully we will miss the bad weather this weekend. We had a GLC till last April and never had a problem even in the heavy snow we had in 2020, but that car had Pirelli Scorpion all seasons fitted.

G01 service Plan
Best off paying when you service as I did with my G30. I picked my G01 up last Friday I will be low mileage 5k annually tops, one think I will do is yearly oil change at the garage that looks after my TR6 would never leave oil for two years.
