Pcv valve/ crankcase ventilation
Thanks I will hopefully be able to check the injectors on a laptop on Monday when I’m in work. We use 2 different Bosch injector specialists for testing and refurbishing so will give them a call too

Pcv valve/ crankcase ventilation
I checked it today with BimmerLink but no faults in the system. I have tried to check the injectors individually but there is no option in the app for that.

Pcv valve/ crankcase ventilation
I will check it tomorrow. I do not get the engine light on the dash when it missfires so not sure a fault will be logged but will check. Thank you

Pcv valve/ crankcase ventilation
Further information. I have replaced the pipe with a new genuine one. It was very brittle when I removed the old one. In the meantime I have developed another fault. I’ve gained a missfire at tick over not all the time but reasonably often. I also have a smell when I park up that smells like a b ...

Sorry yes it’s the n47 engine. Mine is the 23d. Is there any history of problems with the crankcase ventilation system on this engine

Pcv valve/ crankcase ventilation
Hi
Does anyone know of any problems with the crankcase ventilation on the 2.0 n75 engine. Mine is the twin turbo one from 2010. Is there a regular service requirement for them. I noticed a slight oil leak in the general area of the valve.

Tyre advice
I don’t drive particularly hard and have more power/torque than in my Mercedes. I just thought a premium tyre should last more than 12 months. I guess I will be having new rear tyres every year!

I’m 90% sure they are not legal unless you have automatic headlamp levelling. A previous car of mine had hid from the factory and had sensors fitted to the front and rear suspension to level the lights depending on the load in the car.

Tyre advice
Thanks for the replies. I replaced the fronts probably 3 months after the rears. If 12000 is ok then so be it. I will buy Pirelli again for the rear just to be safe. I got 40000 out of a set of continentals on my Mercedes so thought 12000 wasn’t a lot.

Tyre advice
Hi I’m after some advice on tyres for my x1 23d x drive. My car runs 225-45 r 18 on the front and 255-40 r 18 on the rear. Currently have Pirelli all round. I have replaced them all in the last 12 months. When I serviced the car at the weekend I noticed the rears are nearly on the wear markers. I h ...

My iPhone 12 Pro works perfectly on my 2010 x1. I have no problem listening to music and making calls via Bluetooth
