Sorry ,its not a petrol tank its a breather tank on a Diesel.No No dont drill holes in petrol tank every one knows the price o that stuff.LoL

The pipes you are looking at are the three breathers that i was talking about the faulty valve is on top of the tank .you will see it after you remove the two 6mm bolts (10mm )spanner size,in figure r16 o234 number 1 looks like it but my car did not have a pipe on it .I drilled the hole (8mm) next ...

Hi . Removed the o/s rear wheel then the under arch trim to expose the expansion breather tank ? Unbolted it to find a valve mounted on the top that was not passing either way .There is 3 breather pipes going into the tank that i removed so i could check to see if there was any pressure build up,i ...

Got my own workshop so i will get it stripped out tomorrow,just had a look at the linkfor tech data so i will post my findings,Its mega annoying it was perfect when i last filled it up last week.And there is no other running probs.Ian

Near empty.It was acting like it was full to the neck because it was bubbling up the neck and running out.

The same thing has just happened to me,its no joke has just taken me 15mins to put £10 of diesel in and we all know how little that is.Has anyone else found the fault.

The samething happened to me i sold a toyota celica n/s mirror listed as a n/s mirror ! but it did not fit the drivers side of the car .My fault for not listing as passengers side !!!! So had to accept return of a correctly listed n/s mirror.That SURPRISE didnt fit the o/s.

Hi x555 ,i am just 6ft 2 so not the smallest,no my name is Ian but my wife is Denise and her reg no is guess wot,coz we call her Den and she is wee.Made a 5mm allenkey the correct size and shape to remove the not so accessable bolts at the rear of the air box.so job start to finish about 45mins

The car seams the same,the one that i removed was not the foam filter type,but what i did notice was the new one was a lot lighter than the old one !
