Re: Making contact......

It is a bit quiet here, perhaps other owners have similar ownership experience we had. Best described as uneventful! :)

Our E83 X3 2.0d SE was with us for two enjoyable years and 46k miles. It was remapped by Superchips which gave it a decent turn of speed and good torque, fuel economy was a touch ...

Re: High performance home networks

I've been thro' this pain over the last 5 years or so. The answer is cabled, wifi and home plug/power line just aren't robust enough even if you do manage to tweak them to deliver a consistent 30mbps physical link. I got close with power line at 200mbps but 1080p dts can peak to 45mbps and I had ...

Life with my X6....

It's a month since the new white Tonka arrived on our driveway. Delivered from by the dealer in its "raw" state (9 weeks after order), just as I had asked them to. This was to allow, Barry from Autodetox to finesse the paint on the car without first fixing damage caused by the dealers valeters.

As ...

[quote=""X5Sport""]Being a 'performance' car the ride is firm but that means the handling is excellent. Hello, soon to be E71 X6 40d owner

Hello,

Just placed an order for an X6 40d in white with Cotswold BMW. Hopefully it will arrive before the end of June for family holiday duties (a trip to Bergerac, France).

Great website with useful information, and I'll post some pics when the car arrives.

Ed :)
