Re: NOW WITH PICS - BMW X5 3.0d Auto Sport Exclusive Spec, Sterling Grey 55 2005
I'm starting to think I could be waiting for months to find the 'right' buyer, and house completion imminent (next week) I will need a van next week. :( I have an offer of £8500 cash for the car this weekend (well I wouldn't accept shares, lollipops or bottle tops! :D ) although it kills me and ...

X5 still for sale. I'll avoid ebay when I advertise it and go with the Gumtree / Pistonheads / Autotrader route I think.
£9750 ono.

Re: BMW X5 3.0d Auto Sport Exclusive Spec, Sterling Grey 55 2005
Thanks for the advice, I may well just do that as there's lots of interest but just not the early bidding activity. I know when I was looking back in December you just couldn't find an exclusive spec with the wider arches, wheels and options etc.. for anywhere near where it's at. in fact only a ...

Re: BMW X5 3.0d Auto Sport Exclusive Spec, Sterling Grey 55 2005
Nope.... :-[ The weird thing is, when I tried to put a reserve on it at the weekend the listing fees went up to £76!!! so I thought balls to that. If I try now it only goes up to £17.99 from £10.99 so that one has me a bit stumped.
I might have to pull it and re-list with a reserve >:(

NOW WITH PICS - BMW X5 3.0d Auto Sport Exclusive Spec, Sterling Grey 55 2005
Unfortunately and much to my regret I have to sell the X5 :( I'm in the middle of buying a new house down south which requires a refurb' and I'll need to buy a van to do this, I can't justify running the X5, the 840 and a van. (I may even need to sell the 8 series as the garage is too small :cry1 ...

All done, about 30 mins per side, didn't need to remove the arch liner as it was the balljoint/wishbone I changed.

Re: front wishbone how to?
That's the one Graeme, many thanks, I knew there was a clip hiding in the bumper somewhere I needed to remove. Now I won't break it and off I go.
Cheers, Jon

front wishbone how to?
Hey all, I've been busy with a new baby for a few months and neglected the x5 which has the usual wobble braking from 60 ish. So I'm going to change the front rear wishbones. There was a brilliant how to on here which some kind soul wrote but I can't for the life of me find it, anyone know where it ...

Tank to tank fill up results: (I keep a spreadsheet of all fuel costs, keep receipts, and record mileage for business expense purposes. Luckily these can be used give actual mpg figures :) ) I'm surprised by the actual improvement now the maths in in front of me!! just goes to show the OBC can be ...

Re: Aux Input
Thanks for that, now I know about those inputs in the centre console. I'll have a look for the glove box or footwell aux input and if not there just opt for the bale, or I might go with one of the CD changer replacement IPOD thingys which gives me control from the steering wheel.
Thanks again

Re: Self levelling suspension issues starting
Hi Condor, what was the outcome of the self leveling suspension issue? I ask as today I got the self leveling susp inactive message. I hoping it goes away when I leave work :D and I'm putting it down to being parked overnight on a very uneven car park with the back end 600mm higher than the front ...

Aux Input
Afternoon all, I've been reading a few articles on the Aux input retrofit for external audio devices and this has me confused. I just tried to connect my ipod to the E53 via the 'Already Existing' Aux input on the back of the centre console, now I'm sure I used to also do this with my old V8 X5 too ...
