Fuel consumption
As best i can recall now,, i would have been quite pleased with that. On my 4.4 a figure of 15mpg was constantly displayed on 'local' commuting.

F85/86 owners, your help, please
No no, my E71 is my final ever car. Id like another V8 before i pop off, or have to give up driving, but its impossible to justify.

F85/86 owners, your help, please
I am copying the F86 factory winter wheels package. The tyres for that are non runflat but ☆ rated Pirelli's. I have the correct type 611 wheels too, so its all kosher. The tyres are 285/40/20 all round, so a bit taller than the original runflats.

F85/86 owners, your help, please
Mine was laser aligned a while ago when i had the current Continentals fitted, as i said, they are wearing very evenly. I think i'm going to go with the figures shown above 2.5F & 2.2R. As i noted, an E71 is apparently 80 kilos lighter than an F86 so its still an elelment of trial and error. My E53 ...

F85/86 owners, your help, please
Noted and thank you. But if suspension geometry is set correctly, why would there be edge wear as opposed to over/under inflated wear? The summer runflats are wearing spot on evenly, so the car is set up correctly. Given what these ☆ Pirelli winters cost, I'd obviously like to make best use of them b ...

Where did you find that? Thank you, copied and filed. Interesting the rear is a lower pressure on winter non runflats than summer runflats? I had guessed at 2.5 bar, but had used that all round. I need to deflate the rears a bit. I know the F86 is heavier than an E71 but its as good as i can get it ...

I've searched everywhere i can think of without success. What does your tyre pressure door jamb sticker say for 285/40/20 winter tyres?

New B - X5 e53
Hi SaphireBlack, I’ve been looking at the upright type screens, something like this; https://xtrons.co.uk/bmw-x5-e53-android-11-hexa-core-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-pqs1153bl I also forgot to mention, the two other things I’m considering, upgrade standard headlights to Xeon and repair of the cluster display. ...

Hello and :hi: . Many of us have owned an E53, great cars, and the one that set the mold for SAVs. Good mileage on your example for its age too.. Infotainment upgrades are a big subject, Chinese look a likes of the OE screen style with better features were popular, but i did see a kit that mimics ...

E83 X3 3.0d 2006 155,000mls total failure
My purchases were generally NoS deals and all a while ago. The packaging made no claims about legality as i recall, but in Greece, that's pretty academic. The packaging and general advertising i read here simply make a point about LED chip placement. The H11s in the E71s cornering lights are not ...

E83 X3 3.0d 2006 155,000mls total failure
With Philips and Osram making much of the fact their LED chip positioning mimicks OE halogens filament position, is there now a positive argument to use them? The UK has its own criteria as we know, but fwiw i fitted LED bulbs, H7, H9, H11 in my 2005 Touareg kept in Greece,, unsurprisingly the light ...

This is detailed in the listing. It needs to be expanded to view in detail. Light has to travel very much further to the outer ring

Still not LED brightness of course, but they are white, not candle yellow. I'll get some better images asap. I just grabbed this one while still in the garage. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384441953761?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pf--3a83twk&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Pdt3tBmuQSq&var ...

I had 2 AMG E 55 estates both had transmission issues and both suffered from rust all in their first 3 years phenomenal cars even with the issues followed with a CLS 63 estate 4 years and not a single glitch or hitch. I never had any wheel/tyre problems but they were on 20" (Big in those days) mind ...
