Add emergency spare wheel.

I have a space saver wheel and I have it tied to the rear seats using a ratchet belt.....it works for me as I dont really ever need to lower the rear seats.

passenger airbag warning

The passenger airbag warning has just started to illuminate (nr the reading light) when I turn on the ignition saying "passenger airbag is deactivated" I have tried to re-activate it with the key but it still says deactivated! Anybody know what might be the cause?

Thanks in advance

Al

front parking sensor

Hi one of my front parking sensors has come loose and fallen behind the bumper, can anyone tell me how to get to it from either the wheel arch or do I have to remove the bumper!

Thanks in advance

changing both tyres on rear axle

Hi,

I've just had a conversation with a guy who reckons you should change both tyres on an axle because changing just 1 tyre can affect the diff on that axle!

Is this true or is he just talking rubbish?

Thanks in advance for any helpful comments :D

Re: bull bar

Thanks for your info.

And yes I am in the UK. I saw an x3 (but couldn't make out which year it was) with one fitted so I'm presuming there must be a market out there.

I'll have to do some research as I quite like the idea of having one on mine.

Re: Wiper "lift" for windscreen cleaning

I just read the handbook "ignition on then off. move wiper lever (not actual wiper blade) up till resistance and hold for approx 3 seconds and the wipers will move to position on windscreen"

Hope this helps
