Had a few daft offers through eBay as usual but decided to reduce to £8750 so I fall within more search criteria.

Pretty sure as soon as someone views they will appreciate the condition of the car and make me a decent offer.

Hi all, Firstly, thanks to all those who have given advice over my last year of X5 ownership, but the time has come to move her on as we will be leasing something newer shortly and I need to cash to complete my purchase of a mint 1988 BMW 525e. Well she passed the MOT first time which must be a first for any car of mine!

They didn't have time to thoroughly investigate the wobble today but I am going to get the wheel balancing checked again anyway as I am sure things got worse since the 'clunk'

It only judders under braking and drives fine all other times. I will find out the diagnosis soon enough as it's in there today!

Just rang my local specialist who thinks it might be an unbalanced wheel, which would make sense as I had 4 tyres changed last week and heard a clunk as I was driving away. Must have been one of the balancing weghts letting go!

Tempted to just punt it though its MOT on Monday and hope for the best then.

Can really do without a massive bill at this time of year obviously!

No worning lights on dash so could be the suspension arm bushes I guess?
Will ask garage to look when it's MOT'd.
If suspension arm bushes would this be an MOT fail point?
