Its not causing me a problem and I am not getting any error messages.
I am just a very inquisitive person and don't like not knowing what something is for

Re: unkonwn wire
As it looks to be just brown it’s a ground wire so should be connected to the chassis. Maybe it’s used for an option you don’t have/need? Thanks for the reply, I would have thought if it was a standard ground wire for the chassis that it would have a ring on it and not a proper connector. I thought ...

unkonwn wire
Calling out to see if anyone knows what the wire is supposed to connect to? It hangs off one side of the rear heated screen and is the one with the purple connecter. It seemed to be taped up with "official" tape that holds the other cables in place but I cant see anything for it to connect to and I ...

Re: Engine code question
Drove it today and I thought it drove perfect going back to buy it in the morning after he's tested it. Thanks for your input guys. Hi Daz, even though it has been serviced regularly, I would like to bet that the gearbox and transfer box oil hasn't been changed as it is often labeled as "for life ...

Re: rear view camera
I know it is a basic suggestion but have you checked the fuse?
I am just about to retrofit a reversing camera and I have to route it via the fusebox.

Re: Engine code question

Re: Short Number Plates?
I had some done a few years ago by the Jersey seller. A couple of years ago I couldn't find their website, so I've since been getting mine done by these people . Because they're offshore, they don't need your details, but the plates still conform to UK legislation. Up to now, I can't fault the ...

Re: Short Number Plates?
going to look online for the shorter plates, just wary about giving over personal and vehicle details on the internet that you usually have to show when getting plates made.

Re: Short Number Plates?
Both my plates are screwed on so have to check that a shorter plate wouldn't uncover the screw holes.

Re: Charging
Are you charging with the battery still connected? Last year I put a trickle charger on our Range rover for about 4 hours. I didn't disconnect the battery. 3 days later the alternator failed.. The garage said it was a coincidence but I'm not sure. I've always disconnected the battery to charge it ...

Re: Charging
I have 4Ctek chargers for my cars and motorbikes. The recon will run a higher charge to break down the build up on the plates in the battery before dropping violtage accordingly.

I have recently bought mine but thought I would point out that when I click on the link I just get a white page, no information.
I don't have any issues with other web pages.
