i have ordered a cable to have a bash at using inpa to help solve my problems. i shall update this post when i find out what is going on. thankyou for everyones advice

what the cheapest reader? can anyone recormmend one, I dont mind using pc software and a cable ,ive previously used opcom/vagcom

disconnected the battery all afternoon today, still no joy.
whilst i was at it , i had a proper look at the fuses, the terminals to the suspension fuse and compressor fuse only have one pin/terminal, surely this cannot be right?

I checked the glove box fuse number 57, that's in there and doesn't seem blown, have swapped it for a 15amp as it was a 10. Still not doing anything.

i have put fuses in the relevent places but it still nothing, fuses are not even blowing

car definitely went up and down, but temperamental , you had to keep your finger on which direction you wanted it. it just put this down to a dodgy switch

The car wasn't jacked up, it was driven on a ramp on one side, could this still happen to the sensor arm, I just presumed it was when cars were jacked and the wheels were off the ground.
How would I go about finding the sensor arm and trying to put it back in its right position

After having to have my up on one ramp overnight to do an oil change, I now have the pain in the arse "suspension inactive". I have the 2 axles adjustable suspension, previously if I had issues with the "suspension inactive, do not exceed 35mph" I could just tweak it a bit with the adjuster button ...
