Yes the 4.6is is a V8, I'm not sure how different it is from the 4.8's though tbh, don't think there's too much in it

i must say this thing really unlocks a V8 i complained to Jason that mine was too "muted" with the windows up even when you boot it....so we went out in his with this kit fitted and what a difference, that was a proper sounding V8. top kit!

i had a 3.0 v6 too, and that didnt have the air sus that the v10 did and it was alot nicer to drive but still a long long way from the X5 and yeah once i heard that v8 burble that was it...although not as loud as id of liked it haha and boring passat? take that to jason too what can be done to ...

+1 on the breathers try them there about £16 from the stealers so worth doing even if its not them! my 4.8 has this problem was once on the Chelsea embankment in traffic and smoked out the people behind me when i eventually hit the throttle, on mine it ended up being the intermediate levers? (maybe) ...

great work! but do bear in mind if you put the OEM exhausts back on you will need it mapped again to go with them and get the most from it, your fuel consumpion figures sound simmilar to my 4.8 before and after in the motorway depending how heavy the right foot was i could get anywhere from 20-28mpg ...
