Re: Tyre life expectancy
I have posted a thread on F25 X3 about the same issue as I am due to change. I've had (since new) Pirelli P7's RFT, but only on 18" all round and not a staggered set up. I was looking to see if an average of 16k miles per set was normal? My biggest gripe is there's still 3-5mm on them but the normal ...

How long have your X-Drive tyres lasted?
Hi folks, having moved up from an E53 Le Mans (Ohhhh we miss it), our F25 X-line is now past it's 3rd anniversary and first MOT. I am coming to the life end of it's second set of tyres (P7 RFT) on standard 18" all round set up. I was wondering: :? > Each set has lasted me almost 16k miles (I always ...

Re: Rear brake disc and pad change
that's a great help and I had contacted Cotswold and were impressed - again. My warranty expires in 3 weeks but that doesn't mean I'll skimp on parts - worth the extra and will stick with originals. Thanks for the post and have a great Christmas

Re: Rear brake disc and pad change
Great post and I am coming to the point where I need to replace my rear pads. I've had a great price from a dealer who offers a discount and delivery (around £30 less than my local dealer), but I am tempted by Brembo at ECP. Any comments or experiences gratefully received.

Re: Bi-xenon headlights
Have you the 'Adaptive headlights' pack? I have on mine and they are tremendous. If the light output is as low as you say there may be another issue? Hope you get it sorted

Re: Tyre recommendations.
I have a F25 X3 (X-drive) and it's fitted with P7 RFT. I wouldn't recommend these are they are dire!! Still around 4mm rear and 5mm front and they are beginning to 'step' and make that wheel bearing type noise already. Same happened with the last set and similar depth. I hope there are some ...

Re: Thinking of getting a G01 x3
Hi Stu, we have the pan roof on our F25 and it's great. There is some extra road noise when the screen is fully retracted, but when on tilt, there is hardly any extra noise and no wind intrusion. It's great for when the pooch stays in the car for 10 mins and makes the interior much lighter when open ...

Re: Wiper "lift" for windscreen cleaning
Mine work but there is a point where I think I'm going to break something before they shift! I just lift the end of the arm in their parked position most of the time and careful with the bonnet lip

Re: EGR cooler recall letter
Mine went in and came back the same day with the cooler changed. Great service from the garage and the courtesy car was useful but happier to exchange the 118d to the X3 :D In relation to the squeaky door issue, it's known and if you search for it online you can see many, many posts on the issue and ...

Re: EGR cooler recall letter
I've had my letter and mine goes in on 31st July. Just wondering if the theme still continues i.e. parts on back order. My dealer has said that the worse case scenario is the car being kept until parts arrive. I've asked them to have a look at the door seals as well as it's developed the known ...
