Re: Wiper "lift" for windscreen cleaning
All I do is the following, Ignition off, doors locked ready to wash. Push the wiper blade in the direction it would normally sweep until it is near the top of its arc. Let go and lift off screen. After washing the car, put blade back onto screen and push back in direction of sweep until in the usual ...

Re: Rear tyres for X3
I have googled to see what mileage other people are getting, but no results. These tyres are recommended by Hankook for “SUV’s” so they should last a little longer. I’m just deciding which tyres to put on and hope the dealer will assist with returning these to Hankook. Proving mileage isn’t a problem ...

Re: Rear tyres for X3
Hi,
The rear alignment was done before the tyres went on, they have worn completely evenly. Just a little too quick.

Rear tyres for X3
I’m looking for recommendations for rear tyres. I have an X3 F25 3.0d. My last tyres were Pirelli P Zero runflat and lasted about 15000 miles, they were on the car when I bought it. I currently have Hankook S1 EVO2 runflat fitted since Feb. I have done 3000 miles and am nearly down to the wear i ...

Re: Brakes
I had the same issue on mine, changed the arm and ball joint on both sides, problem solved.
Cost of parts was £100. It took about 3 hours but worth it.

Re: EGR cooler recall letter
Just a heads up for everyone. My EGR cooler was replaced under the recall but they don't change the EGR valve at the same time. If the valve goes down the car goes into limp mode which mine did. Luckily it was replaced at home by BMW assist.

Re: EGR cooler recall letter
Finally got my car back after 5 weeks. I ended up posting on BMW UK Facebook page about the dismal service I was receiving and I had a holiday coming up but couldn't carry my dog in the hire car. The next day I got a call saying my car was ready. ![👍](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f44d.svg)

Re: EGR cooler recall. Has yours been done?
Sytner have had mine for over 2 weeks now. Had a text yesterday saying they were still waiting for parts. it was booked in for the work in December and promised they would have a car for me to use. No cars were available on the day it went in, so they booked me a car through Enterprise. To be honest ...
