I would buy a cheep 18mm spanner and put it on a grinder and grind it to the width I need.

If any any body can help or advice would be much appreciated. From the rht front/back speakers while driving occasionaly the audio would go and come back along with waht sounds like associated interference. Has any one replaced an X5 3.0 diesel starter motor, is tackled from underneath or from under the bonnet, which is the easiest way ?

I would put a current meter on the red lead, jump point under the bonnet try start the car and get some to see what the current draw is on the meter, should be180 to 300 amps mine was inexcess of 600 amps.............new starter.

Ref the park sensors, mine are round when viewed striaght on, are they compatable with the rectangular ones ? I bought some that are Rover/BMW part number 602 277 change the rear one with no sucess.
Any inf would be much appreciated.
