My auto lights take ages to come on when the natural light fades away.  Has anyone else had issue with their auto lights and is their a fix?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to idrive (used to Audi system) and would welcome some guidance on whether there’s a function to get auto zoomed junctions / exits when in nav mode.  I had an option on my Audi, but can’t find a way of doing it on my X5 (F15).

I have one question.  Kwik Fit told me that changing the RFT's to non RFT's is classed as a modification and could affect my insurance.

Is this true?

Newbie question,

I just had a look under the bonnet after a short drive (was checking out kidney removal) and heard a whining / sort of spinning noise coming from under the BMW plastic cover that covers the engine.

Is this normal / could it be turbo related?
