No E53's out there needing rear bushes?
Around the 70k mark and unless you have done it already or changed for poly bushes then now is the time.
Give me a shout if you are interested, cheers.

E53 rear subframe bush tool for sale
Hi folks,
Not been here for a bit and on a garage tidy up found the bush tool.
Only used once when I had the 4.4 and I can't begin to tell you what a difference new subframe bushes made to the handle and feel.
I'm after a measly £120.00 delivered to UK address, it cost double that as you may ...

Howdy folks, just passing through
Hi all,
It's been a short while since the X5 was taken on by a new owner, just stopped by for a hello!
Got a 2000 5 series 2.8 to tide me over for now, well specced and a tidy example for much cheapness.
Hilariously though the 50 pence bleed valve on the expansion tank was passing coolant, a ...

Well folks,
I actually sold her on a well known site, the very next day after advertising.
Mixed feelings letting her go, afraid of impending bills for major repairs, but happy that the work I did was of sufficient standard to enhance the new owners experience.
Little did I know that she is now ...

Re: Franklin sub frame bush tool for sale
Thanks guys, the option to hire unfortunately isn't practical as I spend half the year abroad.
I've had one offer so far to buy it, I'll give it a couple of days before deciding.
Cheers.

Re: Franklin sub frame bush tool for sale
Another thought, I would be happy to offer my services to swap out anyone's E53 subframe bushes for a nominal fee ;)
The task is a two knuckle rating, plus a tendon and optional scuff, backache inclusive.
If you imagine working on an average family car and double it you're getting close.... 4 ...

Franklin sub frame bush tool for sale
Howdy folks, as the title suggests I am selling my Franklin bush tool since I no longer have any use for it.
The tool was purchased a couple of months ago and since I have just finished replacing all four bushes on my 2001 E53 it needs a new home.
Original cost £200 but as I have saved a few ...

Re: Insulation
Agree the payback is going to take a while, but tbh it made a big difference to the last house we were in, just prior to moving and I wanted the best score on the now defunct HIP. The upstairs radiators were turned way down and I was impressed with the additional sound proofing, it surprised me how ...
