Little update. I never got round to ringing bmw but the sat nav has started working again.
Any ideas now why it would drop its signal for 2weeks then all of a sudden start working again

The gps positioning doesn’t change its numbers but the arrow on the screen moves. Not sure on teleservices or sos. Thought it may of been the antenna. Any idea on prices. My sat nav is on a hard drive so can’t update with a disc. I’ve now purchased the latest maps and still no joy.
It still can’t find me.

Thanks for the response. Planning on disconnecting the battery today but wondered would that mean I have to re register it or would that only be for a new battery.
