My Engine in bits!

Thanks both, yes was a laborious job! Actually only took 1-2 weeks in total manhours but could only fit the work in between rain, Work and Kids!    Have to say love the Power and driving the X.

Mine had a similar issue and I replaced Air flow meter . Can’t remember fault codes off hand though.

Did you get a remap too? I removed my swirl flaps also, but had heard may need remap to remove the function?

Hi just joined this forum, owned my X3 for a year now but has been off the road for 10 months due to my Timing chain snapping at 100k!! Wasn’t happy, but fixed by myself now and back to glory.
