Re: VHC at dealership
If you wanted OEM you should have gone for ATE from Autodoc or Trw as they just as good, slightly better than Pagid and Eischer should not be fitted even to Fiesta. Also there's a good reason why good garage won't fit your own parts and it's to do with liability and warranty. Would you take a your ...

System is simple actuly, compressor to valve and valve to left and right bag. What trough me off was new bags, I didn't test them after fitting as they were new. Anyway fitted Arnott today so can't wait to see it in the morning.

What kind of garage is it? Copart has a big site in Sandy so make sure that car is not an insurance write off.

Re: About to go for an E70 to replace an E46
Corby, Northamptonshire. Not a Bmw specialist by any means but have had a few of my own and generally have more interest in them rather than Ford or Vauxhall. I do find new Bmw owners funny when they buy a car fro few grand and than start fixing it and realty hits them of owning a prestige brand lol.

Re: Air suspension
My labour is free, so wasn't too concerned if it lasted a year or two but leaking from the box was a bit too much, I've had enough BMW and worked on a lot more, I'm well aware off the cost off ownership.

If it's getting louder with speed and sounds like jet engine it will be wheel bearing.
How to identify which one or be 100% sure?
Does it matter?
