Re: Newbie: Battery problem
There is a release catch for the boot. It's a little tab that you have to pull. If your inside the car looking out the back window its on the left hand side of the lower folding section. All x5 batteries are in the boot AFAIK under the spare wheel. I've had 2, 4.6 and a 4.8 and both were there. The ...

Re: iPhone in e53
Hmmm. Maybe that's what's happened. When I scroll through the menu I get radio , cd, tape but no AUX. I'm presuming that means nothing is plugged into it then.

Re: iPhone in e53
Thanks
Yeah I put the head unit onto Television, then onto AV, but all I get is a blank screen with Mute displayed that I can't switch off. I presume this works as it looks like someone was using it to connect an iPhone/iPod....and yeah volume was right up.

iPhone in e53
Hi Not been on here for ages but need help please. I've just bought a 54' 4.8is and found a lead in the drinks holder that is a 3.5mm headphone jack that I would presume is plugged into the oem stereo/nav unit to enable iPod / iPhone use. Tried plugging my phone in but no joy. Where do I listen to ...

Re: London X5 Owners and Wing Mirrors

That got caned regularly, and Ive only moved half a mile up the road since then! To be fair tho, with a bangin system in the boot and a cherry bomb ...

Keys Not working
Hi all For some reason both keys on the X5 have decided to stop operating the locking/unlocking 95% of the time. It seems to have happened really quickly and randomly to both keys. it now takes about 60 seconds of constant pressing of the buttons to unlock the car. I was under the impression that ...

Re: x5 battery drain
Hi mate
I had the same problem a few months ago. All sorted by just getting a new battery. It'll cost about £130 but sorted my problem out. Check this thread for info tho. Hope it helps.

Re: Tyre Valves
All sorted now. Thanks for the help. Just for refernece the valves cost £13.80 each from BMW, I bought 2 cos my other front one was a bit damaged too, and my local indy charged me £20 to fit the pair. Result.
