Thanks for that mate , something not quite right with mine so booked in with dealer to be looked at
Went to London this week in it, horrendous weather and traffic but this car made it effortless, set active cruise and relaxed all the way there

I set the trip computer to auto so see each journey, got 33 from collecting it at Oxford back to Derbyshire and seeing about 28 on my 20 journey to work, used to have an M4 where I saw 25 average and the M5 sees about 20 so well happy tbh, they reckon the fuel station is your best friend in the X5M ...

Can't blame your logic there mate, as you say the 4.0 has plenty of get up and go, would have been happy with either tbh, the clincher for me was the driving assistance plus package this one has which after looking at countless cars seems pretty rare

Yep test drove a new X5M50D and it felt so much bigger...tbh much prefer looks of the F15 but then again when I had the E70 I preferred the looks of them to the F15

Dreadful weather in Derbyshire today...was driving in horrible conditions in Auto...creeping down a hill and went into a full slide....car went 180 degrees leaving me still sliding down the hill wrong side of the road backwards Not sure why but it all went to sh1t when i pressed the hill decent ...
