Found the problem. A pressure test revealed that the tank is cracked. New one ordered.

No, I've already reconnected the level sensor. The problem is I've found loads of diagrams but they are all of different designs of tank, except the type I have.

I noticed a leak from the underside of the expansion tank. After removing it to repair I notice an outlet on the underside which fits into a rubber grommet, which then protrudes from the underside of the tank holder frame. I can't figure out if this is supposed to connect to a pipe of some sort or ...

Forgot to mention, steering wheel controls retained.

I had a Pioneer AVIC-F980 fitted, including reversing camera. The fitting wasn't cheap but I'm extremely please with the system. The old unit is stored in a box in my garage in case the next owner wants it.

My Handbook says 35psi so that's what I use.

If you look underneath the mirror housing there should be a downlight. The plug is for that

I would imagine it was the ABS kicking in.

When I had this problem on my Saab 9-5 I removed the leaking pipe and took it to my local branch of Pirtek who made up a flexible one to match. It cost £25 and worked perfectly.

AS above. Every now and then the EML light will come on, flash a few times and then go off and the car runs perfectly. There are no codes stored so I have no idea what could be the cause. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
