Re: Windscreen wiper hitting pillar
[quote="Pinewood"] When the wipers come up to the max point, there should be a 2 inch parallel gap between it and the pillar. Anything less suggests the wiper arm needs to taken off and moved a cog or two over. Why it would move is anyone's guess? Could there be an issue with an encoder motor ...

Re: Where can i get the build sheet spec for new X3?
I just grabbed a number plate from autotrader for a G01 and worked for me.
You only need to enter a reg plate and hit enter/Go. No need to fill in any other details.

Re: 30D super low fuel efficiency, why bruv?
I average normally around 32mpg in my 2.0d drive. Can be up to 36 if I do more motorway only driving. Most of the time just 2 adults and a small child.

Re: Windscreen wiper hitting pillar
So I pushed the wiper back over when we had the bout of snow a month back. Hasn't happened since but do have a chunk of paint missing from my pillar which I will need to touch up.

Re: High Mileage - OK or not?
As a person who has many high mileage cars I would say they are Ok as long as they have been maintained regularly and show no signs of abuse. Re: Windscreen wiper hitting pillar
I ordered some new wiper over Xmas and checked the ones on the car and they are the right size. Hasn't happened for a week or so. Hoping the problem has rectified itself but I'm sure I'm not that lucky.
