http://i67.tinypic.com/3535m2o.jpg Them are pretty similar to mine arnt they? Could I not just buy winter tyres for mine then swap them over? Depends what look you are after.
I'm not a big fan of the thicker profile tyre especially on the M50d.
Mine are the standard 20" OEM M469 alloys with 35 profile tyres.
Looks the sporty number with the reassurance of driving on winter tyres.

Re: F15 19" Double Spokes 467M Tye sizes
I have a spare set of 20" winter wheels which are also staggered.
Last winter with all the snow they performed great and no issues.
I have the Hankook snow tyres non RFT, which are so much better than my Pirelli P zero RFT.
Winter shoes going on by the end of the month.

15k miles and my rear P Zero tyres need renewing.
Can anyone advice on a tyre where I can get better wear.
The P Zeros are expensive and not good value for money if I can only get this little mileage.
Any Ideas!

Re: Brake Caliper Painting
I did some research and the only place I found was Nottingham.
As they needed the car for 3 days and I live in SE England was no use to me!
Do it yourself.

Re: Post your CLEAN pictures of your X5
Question has to be asked....which is the best one...BM or Merc ?
That's an easy one to answer - X5 of course :D The two cars are different in most cases. My wife's GLC is a great all round town car with its 2.4 litre diesel engine being economical and a good family car. My ...
Looking good. How are you finding the GLC? I’ve heard a lot about full steering lock crabbing etc...
Now its fine, however when we first had it, it was a nightmare trying to convince Mercedes that this was a major fault. In the end having gone straight to Mercedes UK and w ...

Re: Awaiting delivery date of my M50D
Well done on securing a great deal.
Assuming its a stock car, so when are you getting delivery?
As a matter of interest what sort of discount did you get?
Also what is the spec?
You won't be disappointed!

Re: Remap M50D
I'm interested however two questions
1. Does this affect the BMW 3 year warranty if something goes wrong with the engine?
2. Is this something you disclose to your insurer and if so how much does it add to the premium
Cheers Poolie!

Re: X5 40d fuel consumption
My M50d does between 30-33mpg on local roads and up to the high 30s on the motorway.
So I would say low to mid 30s for the 40d similar to the 30d.
