Has a compressor too, which means dont have to bother topping up air pressures at the petrol stations as ...

Back-up for using non-flats
Need 2 - maybe 3 - new tyres and want to go non-run flat (NRF) for comfort.
What should I carry as a back-up in case one does blow? Won't be able to carry a spare wheel - maybe a can of that 'slime' stuff which you can fill a tyre up with incase it blows?
What do you folks with NRF's do if you ...

Re: Driving in France - switching to LHD lights
Well the Auto and 0 position have a flat pattern and the setting at the end of the dial is a dipped pattern. I guess the flat pattern on Auto is fine then!

Re: Driving in France - switching to LHD lights
Apparently after doing a bit of reading, no change required as the adaptive xenons have a flat beam pattern. Will check in the dark tomorrow

Re: Driving in France - switching to LHD lights
I thought 'Auto' was for auto on/off according to the light conditions?
Not checked the iDrive menu - Mrs has taken car out, but don't recall ever seeing the option...
Some people are talking about a switch in the cluster - will check that too

Driving in France - switching to LHD lights
Hi
I'll be doing a long road trip in France and need to convert lights to LHD. I have heard this can be done at the flick of a switch but need to take out the front light cluster, which sounds like a pain to do roadside!
Am I just better off getting those stickers?

Re: 30d MSport (2012) recall - front prop shaft replaced but nsf backplate issue?
Thanks Mike - so is this a brake disc issue? So its wheel off and replace something? Can you let me know what the part is and I'll get it done because the front tyres need replacing anyway...

30d MSport (2012) recall - front prop shaft replaced but nsf backplate issue?
Hi all
I got the recall letter to have front prop shaft replaced. They replaced it all fine and the car got a clean bill of health. However in the paperwork I noticed 'nsf back plate broken (rattling)' and have no idea what this means.
I do notice that the car does rattle and now I want this fixed ...

Well its good to know that a chip does make a noticable difference!
I used to have an Impreza about 10 years ago and had it chipped (uprated ECU) - I swear it made no difference that could be felt, so am trying to gauge whether its worth it on the 30d!

Hi all - new to the forum. Picked up a 2012 30d M Sport last week and very happy with it.
I must say that it is a lot quicker on bursts of acceleration than I had imagined - it would give my 911 a run for its money at speeds under 70mph!
I was thinking of getting it chipped and would like to hear ...
