Intercooler
Evening all, I've replaced the turbo and now need to clean the intercooler. Can I do it in situ or do i have to remove it? If so do I really have to remove the bumper and fan 1st? Looks a bit if a ballache just to do a simple job

Just had new turbo on was awesome but now sounds a bit rough and coming up with 404 egr fault? The egr has been blanked off and never shown a fault til now. Split hose? Pressure sensor?

Turbo removal
So along with all the other problems I've had I now need a new turbo. Anyone else done this on the drive at home? Can I change it from underneath or do I have to strip the bugger down like I did for the manifold? Tia

So fault was coming up as crank sensor so changes that for a febi one still wouldn't start dead battery, charged battery took the recently changed camshaft sensor off and swapped with old one (I keep all old sensors for some strange reason) battery died again charged, car started and would idle ...

Also new code 96 egs can engine speed but can't find anything on that? Would that tie in with duff battery?

It's just a heavier sound when you turn it over not really close to starting there's fuel coming through the filter, had it on inpa 3.7 bar pre supply 375 high pressure when turning over

Just had the injectors done as had fuel pressure fault, new line pump aswell, tried the easy start would get a rumble but die again. Genuinely if this wasn't sat in a carpark surrounded with cameras I would torch the heap of shit it's had problem after problem

Sorry diesel, yeah that's what I thought so changed it out cleared codes and still won't start and code logged again
