You can definately do it as I ran through every album stored on the hard drive after getting the car.
Cant remember if you have to select anything in particular but I dont think I did.
Can you not select all albums and start from there? It should ...

Re: Can you stop the music repeating the same album?
Thanks for the reply. I've set up playlists now so will just stick with that, at least that way if I select and artist I can listen to all their albums without having to manually forward it onto the next one.

I've got the Dunlops on my M50D and can't say i'm aware of any excessive road noise at all. I also had these tyres on a 640D and they were good on that too, decent handling and good mileage.
PS welcome Snerks, I remember you from M3 cutters when you had your E92 :hi:

Re: Road noise
After a bit of research the quietest tyres that I've found according to the rating are the Dunlop SP Sport Max (not the GT) run flats rated at 69db compared to 75db of my current Pirellis, that should make quite a difference. They're also quieter (by 1db) than the non run flat Michelins. However ...

Can you stop the music repeating the same album?
During music playback (USB drive) when it gets to the end of an album it starts the same album over again, is it possible to set it so that it automatically moves onto the next album rather than repeating? I can't find anything in the handbook.

Electric steering wheel adjustment broken/not working, and ideas?
Yesterday my steering wheel stopped moving back and forth, and unfortunately it's stuck in the fully retracted position meaning it's a bit of a stretch to reach when driving (i have my seat a long way back). It still moves up and down though. I was hoping it was going to cure itself overnight but ...

My car came with Pirelli tyres and while the roadholding was great, noise and rim protection is the worst.
Swapped to Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT and tyre noise is reduced. Still too much road noise for the car class though.

Re: Road noise
Parcel shelf in place. Can't see anything wrong with the rubbers but it's going in to the dealers in a couple of weeks for something else so will ask them to check. I'm convinced some of it is unfortunate seat postitioning as far as hearing traffic etc, although even my wife commented on the tyre ...

Road noise
After owning my X5 M sport for about 2 weeks now I'm surprised by how much road noise there is above 60mph ish. Below this it's nice and quiet but above this it's noticeable, and worse than the Freelander 2 that I came from which I find surprising. I'm sure some of it is due to the run flats, has ...

Yes there is! On my car you go into your contacts then press "option" button next to the big round button . Then there's an option to "sort contacts". The steps might not be identical on your i drive but basically you go into contacts then display the options. Good luck.
