Re: Help..... Water, water everywhere.....
Thanks for the assist. Tho, just to add (again). I have noticed there is some sort of plastic ledge that has some sort of foam inside that sits about 5 inches above the sat nav box. This is saturated with water, but is above the rear tail light, so for this to be wet, i would have assumed it can not ...

Re: Help..... Water, water everywhere.....
Thanks for the help. Just to add, I managed to siphon most of the water out and had a further look around. Are there any drain hole in those area that also maybe blocked? And regarding the source of the water, i noticed that the dvd nav system which is fixed say halfway up the rear quarter is also ...

Help..... Water, water everywhere.....
Hi. So long story short (ish), a few weeks back I had a few strange electrical issues that somehow sorted themselves out. (yeah right.... :D ) And I had not given it any more thought. However today when I went to go out I had a flat battery, not that this was an issue other than an annoyance as its ...

Re: Finally got the new wheels on...
Looks nice....painted calipers?
Thanks. No, i've not painted them. Not sure if i will, but if i did, probably in black. It has a few problems atm, one being discs needing replacing, so probably getting a set of drilled and grooved. May have a bash at the calipers when they ...

Re: About to purchase X3 3.0i. Question for you!
Yes, as previously stated the mismatched tires are the top one to look out for, non staggered fit is the best way to go, or you will be looking at 'star' marked tires, and well, they are not cheap..... I have had mine for nearly a year now, and apart from horrendous mpg i still very much like it ...

Re: Engine check light?
The battery seem fine, tho i have no tools to check for that sort of thing, it starts up without any effort. but it did come on for the first time after we had some heavy snow, obviously being winter it was dark going to and from work. So lights/wipers/heating/radio all on all the time. (the days ...

Engine check light?
Hi Guys. So a while back my engine light came up on my dash, car was running fine, but booked it into the garage. They said there was some stored codes, but could not find anything wrong, so cleared them for me. This lasted about a week and then on it came again. Garage said that if a code has come ...

Re: Navigation updates
Yes you are right it is a dvd disc and case i have. 2002 tho, rather annoyingly you can not put the whole postcode in, so unless you know the name of the road too, it wont find it. Was hoping a newer disc would solve this, but the only ones i can find are for cars 2007 and newer....

I have a 2005 e83. The navigation is a bit dated. Is there a cd update I can buy? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thx

Re: Dings, Dents and Chips
Might be worth looking for a mobile smart repair in your area. Quite a few do it these days. Had a pretty bad scratch on my front bumper. Came to my work and had it all done in a few hours. Cant even tell it was there now....
