Re: Non run flats
Yes...there's a bit to think about..My thoughts at the moment, with an 18 month old car, is do they tolerate NRF ,within the warranty? Thinking about the space saver ,I've seen some comments that they're not supposed to be fitted to a 7 seat car. I wouldn't fancy a full size spare,( 20" ) leaving ...

Re: Non run flats
Don't mind you asking...this is a discussion forum and I was hoping to generate a bit of discussion as to how non run flat tyres wear,on an F15,as opposed to the run flats that are fitted from new. This is because I don't know. Hope that explains why..... Anything else ?

Non run flats
NOT another should I or Shouldn't I question....I'm going to.... My question is to anyone who has had non run flats fitted to an F15, is ,what about the wear and mileage achieved. How does it compare ? I haven't decided which make to get yet but it will happen ,as soon as the warranty is out.

Re: My new x5 arriving today...
Very interesting to read these comments. Last week,I had a screen change in my x5 4.0d m sport,2016. The Autoglass fitter was as efficient as you could hope for. After fitting the screen he took the car out for 10 minutes for calibrating the screen camera, and on return he showed me all the info.he ...

Re: Tesco half price oil
I bought my X5 4.0d,m sport,2016 in Jan 2017.It was sold as a demonstrator/directors car, with 6000 miles on the clock and was only about 3 months old. Only a personal thing but ,I got the car an oil change so that I would know what was in it,and when it was done. I figured 6k in 3 months was a bit ...

Re: BMW M Performance Air Breather
Dukester.... As is mine.... look forward to seeing yours. Apparently you need to cut off the retaining clips and then use double sided tape.....sounds a bit brutal but they say it's ok.....

Re: BMW M Performance Air Breather
Dukester.....Look forward to further comments,in the fullness of time. They look impressive, but having seen photos on other forums,my opinion is they look a bit "loud" on a white car,but would suit a black or grey car better., a bit more subtle. Just my opinion....

Re: derv ??
As mentioned above,I too put a small amount of 2 stroke in diesel. Somewhat controversial, but done it for years. Recently part chopped 5 series for F15, having done 95k,over 8 years. Always used 2 stroke,at about 200-1. Good discussions about this on web sites.

Re: Real world mpg
Hi....... Mine is 2016 40D m sport and is a shade under 5 months old. This morning before I went out it showed 30 mpg and has done for a few weeks...... mostly just knocking about. Imagine my delight today ,just before getting home when it jumped up to 30.1 mpg. That's what I call progress !
