Transfer Box Judder
Hi - on my 2012 E70, 100k on the clock I'm getting the dreaded transfer box judder at low speeds when there's some lock on.
I'm now on 4 brand new * marked tyres though did run on non * marked Michelin's for a while. (I know it was naughty but those Cross Climates really are very good ...

Re: Drivers side headlight - how much is this going to cost....
Just a quick update - I popped over to Hughes Brothers BMW in Derby. (Thank you Wayfarer!)
Really impressed (I used to run a Range Rover Sport so I've seen the inside of a lot of garages!! Lol), workshop was spotlessly clean, well organised, the technicians were clearly knowledgeable and friendly ...

Thanks Wayfarer - spoke to them this afternoon.
Really helpful, obviously knew their stuff and I'm heading over tomorrow for diagnostics (At least my disposable face will soak up my tears as I cry my way home....!! Lol)

Thanks X5Sport - that's really helpful.
I'm struggling to find a "good" independent close to where I live (Lichfield in the midlands) and the only one I've found is booked up for three weeks so I'm thinking of dropping it into my local stealership for a diagnosis........

Drivers side headlight - how much is this going to cost....
Hi guys - as per the title my drivers side headlight on my 2012 E70 recently failed.
I tried replacing the bulb and this didn't resolve this issue so off to a local independent garage who advised there's no power to the connector and that it's best to head to the main dealer as it's likely to be a ...

Re: Headlamp washer jets
Hi - I had a similar intermittent issue with mine which was fixed by pulling the jets out by hand and giving a good squirt of WD40.

Iphone XR - Pairing Issue
Hi - I have a 2012 X5 E70 that has worked without any major issues with my old Iphone 7.
I've changed to an Iphone XR and now it's refusing to pair with this.
The phone can see the vehicle but when I click on this it doesn't progress to displaying the pairing code.

Re: All season tyres - experiences / recomendations
Hi X5Sport - thanks for the advice and what ever ends up going on will be * marked.
I take your point that LRs are designed to go off road and X5s aren't but I do a bit of sailing, walking, mountain biking etc and live in a rural environment so what I'm looking for are a set of tyres that will a ...

Apologies - that information would have been helpful.......

Hi snrbrtsn - thanks for the quick response!
Ha ha - the glorious satisfaction of knowing you're using the latest version. (And of course it eliminates the male OCD that influences these purchases, "What roads am I missing out on??")

Maps Question - BMW Newbie so bear with me.......
Hi all - picked up my 1st BMW (low mileage 2012 X5 from a main stealer) a couple of weeks ago and acclimatising after years of Range Rover Sport ownership.
So far, my impressions are broadly positive and I have a quick maps question. My nav system is currently Premium 2011i - are there any ...
