Re: Carbon Cleaning
I don't think I got any more power from the clean out (thrash or hydrogen related), but it did help with smoothness, quietness and the like, unless all my senses were deceived. I'm under no illusion and a former forsensic scientist, so know all to well how humans can percieve vs actual evidence. I ...

Had a hydrogen clean and it did make a difference. Bit more perky and responsive and touch smoother. Not sure if it was the cleaning or the trashing engine for an hour that cleared the crap though lol

Re: London 'T' charge
Just ran my 05 (55 plate) 3.0d sport x5 and it is chargeable. Interesting given Alan's 02 isn't chargeable, so they got worse as they got newer lol.
My 06 lexus gs450h hybrid isn't though, and neither is my Aprila falco or ktm 450.
I'd bet that the diesel x5 is better for the environment than the ...

Does it stay live with engine on? I found a few that were off=off, acc=on, run=off which were no good, but didn't find this one, and thought I'd checked them all (although I do not have a garage door remote so perhaps it's not wired up in mine).

Re: Earthing point for Dashcam near glovebox
I used the abs fuse, tut tut. It was literally the only one I found that was live and off as i needed. I did intend to instal a dedicated power supply to a small fuse box for all accessories up front, but never got round to it as other stuff came up with my two other cars which I'm still working ...
