Re: Pre-Purchase Advice Please!
I personally look at the practicalities over added extras. I’ve constantly got the cost of parts, tyres etc in the back of my mind. I’d always go for the 6 cylinder before anything else is considered. There’s nothing wrong with the 20D but the 30D powers these cars effortlessly. I was also happy to ...

Re: Suspected drivetrain noise
So, back on the ramp. Could find nothing untoward. Going from experience myself and another guy both agreed that it did sound like a rough wheel bearing. This time the front driveshafts were taken out of the hubs. Spun the wheels up and sure enough, they’re knackered. Drivers side more so so new ...

Suspected drivetrain noise
My 2012 30D Msport car has started to make the most horrendous noise from what I suspect to be the front drivetrain. I started to notice a rumbling some months ago whilst it was on winter tyres. Put it up on the ramp expecting to find a wheel bearing gone to be honest, no such luck. The noise would ...

Service interval
So, took the X3 to BMW this morning for a service. Booked in for an oil change and micron filter according to their schedule. Got there to be told that the service is actually just a brake fluid change. Long story short I copped the strip a bit as it has become apparent I was told a slight lie when ...

Hello!
Evening all.
Only just discovered this forum. Currently have an F25 X3 and love it. 3.0D Xdrive M-sport on a 12 plate.
No issues with the car so far, bought it as we have our first baby on the way and wanted something a bit more substantial for the wife and baby to get around in.
