Aftermarket android sat nav
Hi all, Just wondering has anyone tried the android I-bus app on a aftermarket android sat nav unit, Can't find much info on it, I've still got the oem sat nav & was thinking of changing to this, You just connect the unit to one of the ibus connectors, Then the I-bus app can read all the info. Looks ...

Re: Question about Latest USB + AUX for OEM Nav
I think the only way of having a usb connector is to have your tv tuner modified, if you have the tv option, Ive seen people out there who can convert analogue tv tuners to digital & add a usb on to the tv tuner.

Re: Question about Latest USB + AUX for OEM Nav
It looks like there is two connectors/ cables to fit to the back of the sat nav unit. There is only one cable at the back of the sat nav unit what is part of the wiring loom for aux input on the X5 (E53) so not sure where the other cable for the usb connects too.

Have you got the sat nav screen, If so then you will be ok, If you haven't then I'm not sure, But just see if there is a cable behind the head unit what isn't connect to anything. It doesn't matter that you haven't got the tv.

Hi,
If your not getting the orange light on I would say its the head unit itself.

Re: Telephone Option no longer highlighted to be choosen?!
It may be your Bluetooth module, But first check all the fuses associated with the telephone & Bluetooth system.
My phone disappeared off the sat nav screen, Ended up being a fuse thank god.

Re: Newbie from Ireland - Looking to put in an Aux to listen to iphone music
It is easy Just like the link Upex has put on, Just make sure you don't drop the screws, If they drop down & fall behind the sat nav unit you want find them, When you rotate the screen down you only have around 10 seconds to remove the bottom screws before the screen rotates back. So I would rotate ...

Re: HEATED FRONT SEAT REPLACEMENT
All fuses are fine, What I forgot to say before was when its cold enough for it to work, The seat will start to warm up, Then turn its self off, When I try & turn it back on, It will go off again within 10 seconds, Then after a few times of turning it on again, Then the lights will flash then go off.

Re: Newbie from Ireland - Looking to put in an Aux to listen to iphone music
Have you got the sat nav, If so, There is a unused cable behind the sat nav unit. I think on 2002 & later models. Buy this cable link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-AUX-Cable-Input-for-Ipods-mobiles-etc-E46-E39-E53-with-Widescreen-Monitors-/160904497496?hash=item2576a7c958:g:fNAAAOSwopRYmF~o When you ...
