Re: BMW Warranty
[quote="Lyons"] What way does it work if you have the warranty in place for a year, but during that year you go over the 60k marker? When you renew next year the price will be the greatly inflated one for cars with over 60k. Can you switch to monthly installments during the year, then let them ...

Re: BMW Warranty
Just some more info regarding BMW warranty costs. I purchased my 2010 X5 35d via Marshalls BMW with an AUC Warranty which expires in March this year. The car has covered 56000 miles to date. Today I received the quote to extend the warranty and with breakdown cover the quote is £1440 with zero ...

Rear entertainment headphones
Hi all, I have a 2010 model E70 with the rear entertainment system and I have 3 young children. Does any body know if I can link 3 pairs of headphones wirelessly to the car (there's only 2 headphone jacks)? If it is possible what type of headphones should I be looking for, is it Bluetooth or ...

Re: Air suspension possible issue?
Hi Broggy, it sinks down when the engine is off but not every time!? It has now done it noticeably about 4 or 5 times in the month or so I've owned it. It did it the first evening I had it and I did think at first it was supposed to do it but as it doesn't do it every time I think it's a leak ...

Re: Air suspension possible issue?
Thanks for the replies. I can't take it back to the supplying dealer as they are too far from me. (I'm in Kent and they are in Scunthorpe) so will book it in to a dealer near me. I just hope they don't try to fob me off by saying there isn't anything on the OBC (although I have taken pictures of the ...

Air suspension possible issue?
Hi all, I have only recently purchased an approved used E70 35D with many options including 3rd row seating and self levelling suspension. In the month or so I have had it, on about 3 occasions I have found the rear of the car to be sunk right down low as if it's carrying weight. There are not any ...

First X5
Hi to all. I have finally taken the plunge into X5 ownership and purchased an AUC X35d. I had toyed with the idea of an E70 4.8 but my sensible side won. Couldn't really stretch to a 40d (unless higher mileage) and so far very happy. I have owned BMW's (and an Alpina) in the past but never a 4x4. I ...

Re: Looking to climb back into an X model
I test drove an E70 4.8i from 'Web Car Sales' 2 weeks ago. It was fully loaded with some nice additions, it drove really well and had only 2 owners from new. It also had a complete up to date main dealer BMW history with 51,000 miles on the clock. The reason I didn't buy it was I felt it was really ...
