Just a bit of information I tought might be useful for others with "wet carpet" issues... Once you have found and fixed the leak, if you dont have visable standing water and its just wet/damp rather than pulling up all the carpet to try and dry it out, stick a few bags of dry 'boil in the bag' rice ...

I'll have to start searching you tube for how to get the door card off and fix the vapour barrier. Only problem is the early dark nights and wet winter weather. Might have to take a day off work... Still better than xmas shopping with the mrs! Ha

Update... I have managed to find the source of the leak (photo attached)... it's coming in from between the edge of the door card and the door itself. Looks like this is a vapour barrier fault?

It's very frustrating at the moment with this wet weather as it's still happening so need to get it fixed asap, but I can't look to fix it because on the moody weather!  >:(
