Rear subframe

That was my plan too but alas beyond my mechanical skills. How much do you think a garage would charge to replace it, with or without bushes being replaced.

Rear subframe

My recent MOT flagged up as an advisory Rear Subframe rust. I live on the coast admittedly. Is this a death knell. Just wondering about bigger jobs down the line in terms of, is the clock ticking ? 2006 Le Mans.

Witter detachable towbar.

Never had a key for this so ordered from Replacement key company. Doesn't fit. I assume this is the right code.
Witter codes start with TR on their site but barrel code is ACS...soaked in WD40 but anyone familiar with what the right code should be please.

Wheel spacers

Hi all. So I'm dallying with the idea of wheel spacers. The recessed wheel stance has always bothered me. Plus my back is shot and bolts to hang the wheel on appeals. .....took me, and the wife, to hang the 315 a couple of days ago. Just looking for the optimum size for a standard 2006 Le Mans. From ...

Spare wheel

So I got a puncture and stuck the spacesaver on. 17" as opposed to 20" on the other 3. Probably be a few days until I can get a replacement. I'm guessing this will be okay regards DSC and gearing etc. Just wondering.

Smell of diesel.

Might be the cold weather but I seem to get a whiff of fumes on start up and in stopped traffic in the interior. Thought I was imagining it with commuting traffic but ever, ever so slight wobble on Rev Counter at idle.
Could this be a cracked manifold. Seems more prominent at bonnet.

Air filter

I'm about to order a 14" key to get at that bolt at the back of the engine. I managed to somehow squeeze the last one in as we could not get that last bolt ...
