Thanks mac1986, I've had experience of wearing down BMW and it's dealers! I had a cracked 'leather' seat issue and had to fight them endlessly to get it resolved (see previous post of this forum)...won in the end and it cost them over £1000 for a new seat base cover and foam!!! When I collected my X5 today (with newly fitted driver seat base cover and foam :) ) I spoke with the Head Technician re. the iDrive telling me the engine oil is at maximum but the dipstick showing less that half way between MIN and MAX.....his response was ALWAYS go by what the iDrive tells you ...
