I've used wonder wheels, autosol and acetone. They are much better but under the naps(black rubber studs) I'm left with rings of very good condition aluminium where the rubber has protected it over the years. Ideally I want to bring the boards up to that level then seal them. I tried adding pictures ...

Autosol, wonder wheels, acetone, still can't bring them anywhere near the condition as the rings that are left under the rubber naps. Any suggestions? And any suggestions on a sealant once the boards are finished?

had mine done 2 months ago along with oil cooler, car has 132k on the clock and garage believes it hadn't be done previously.

No problems so far 

got mine done in 5% rears and back window for £150 in Hebburn Tyne and Wear.

Done a great job too.

Been searching through the Internet and eBay trying to find good condition spares but not much look with very good condition 1's.
