BMW X5 E70 3.0D for sale
Hi all, I'm considering selling my BMW X5 if I get the right price for it. Its a 2007 57 plate 3ltr diesel single turbo with roughly 102,000 miles on the clock. Here's the spec: Space Grey with Sports suspension, black nevada leather sports seats (fully electric in the front), M Sport multi-function ...

Re: Issues
Gotta agree with Reush, you've bought the car from a dealer, and paid more than you would have done than buying privately, for the reason it affords you some form of protection.. With the number of issues you have, I'd take it back to them and ask for them to make it good in a reasonable time, or ...

Re: NEWBIE with X5 e70 3.0d possible tranny problems and timing chain advice
Sorry to drag up an old post but thought id let people know what the noise was: It appears its just a slightly noisy alternator and nothing to be concerned about. I'm assuming its one of the bearings.
Well I'm glad it ain't the transmission parts!

I have a Bmw x5 e70 3.0d with 100k on the clock. Do I need to worry about the swirl flaps issue?

Re: Higher mileage E83.... Sensible buy or economical suicide.....???
Wow that's quite a lot of money. Coming from a ford focus which absolutely nothing went wrong in and climbing into a bmw x5 has reminded me just how expensive these cars can be.
